My kind of sunday, Mon dimanche à moi

Sunday is not just a lazy day. It's the perfect time to go outside and get some fresh air. I enjoy walking in the wonderful places of my city. I forget all of my problems and I think about the composition of my next drawing.

I want to create two paintings for my next group show "Right here right now" at Red Conception Gallery in Helsinki. I will probably paint a selfie of a woman gangster. I remember that when I was in art school I used to paint on synapse paper. It’s very smooth and it looks like photo paper. So I decided that I will paint on this kind of paper.(Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the photos.)

Last Sunday, I went for a walk with a person who is very dear to me, with whom I can be myself. Lacoste jacket, sneakers on and let’s go!

Le dimanche pour moi ce n’est pas seulement un jour de repos. C’est le moment pour sortir et respirer l’air frais. Seule ou accompagnée, je me balade dans les endroits merveilleux de ma ville. J’oublie tous les soucis et je réfléchis plutôt à la composition de mon prochain dessin par exemple.

Cette fois-ci j'ai voulu créer deux peintures pour ma prochaine exposition collective "Right here right now" à Red Conception Gallery à Helsinki. Alors j'ai imaginé quelque chose de coloré. Toujours dans le thème de la femme gangster. Celle qui s'exprime et qui s'en fiche du regard des autres. Je me suis souvenue qu'avant je peignais sur du papier synapse. Très lisse, ça ressemble à du papier photo. Je pense que j'utiliserais ce type de papier pour peindre. ( Rends-toi en bas de la page pour voir les photos ). :)

Dimanche dernier, j’ai été me promener avec une personne qui m’est très chère, avec qui je peux être moi-même. Veste Lacoste, basket et hop ! C’est parti pour un dimanche parfait !

Oh! I almost forgot. I love to eat delicious pastries on Sundays and laugh over and over again! <3

Ah oui ! Et le dimanche c’est aussi le jour où j’aime manger de délicieuses pâtisseries et rire encore et encore. <3
